This warm vessel features a beautiful domed slice of Petrified Sequoia Wood inset into the cap and bound with a lathe turned and millgrained Sterling Silver bezel, capped with a similarly set Amethyst cabochon gemstone.
 
The top edge of the cap was carved on our 1915 Rose Engine and the sidewalls were engraved with a fine wavy pattern on that same vintage machine. The body flutes were carved by our 1875 Ornamental Lathe.
